Peanut Butter Cookies To Die For

First of all, this is not my recipe, it is from a friend, Jennifer Coates (I cant remember her new last name...)

But these cookies are seriously to die for. Soooo good.

Peanut Butter Cookies To Die For
3/4 C flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 C butter, softened
1/2 C peanut butter
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 C quick cooking oats

Cream together butter, peanut butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Add egg and beat well. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add these dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Stir. Add oatmeal and stir. Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheet, and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

Technically this recipe calls for a peanut butter filling to be spread between each cookie, but I never have the patience for that. I double this recipe every time, and this batch lasted 24 hours. Good thing its full of protein and fiber!

P.S. We have a doctor visit tomorrow, and we should be able to find out our little peanut's gender!
